German Studies provides a sound knowledge of the German language and culture through: intensive language teaching, a critical analysis of Germany’s literature, history and culture. German units are for beginners to advance. They cover German language and its varieties in literature, film, history, culture and its major city Berlin. If students want to use German professionally students could consider combining their study with disciplines such as politics, international relations, law or economics and finance.
