It involves the management of employees and the employment relationship, including recruiting, selecting, remunerating, developing and retaining staff. The HR manager’s responsibilities include: workforce and succession planning, performance management and training systems, equity and diversity across organizations. The Human Resources major prepares students to respond to new challenges and changes in the workplace. A strong emphasis is on understanding the processes and techniques that create and maintain high-performing, efficient and ethical organizations. Students will develop change management and sustainability techniques.
