Macquarie University

The study of Chinese at Macquarie is based on Mandarin. Classes range from absolute beginner to native speakers. Students will gain an understanding of the language as well as knowledge of the society, culture and history of China. Students will combine this program with a discipline such as economics, law or accounting to use Chinese professionally.

Students of this course will have career as representatives of the Australian Government or companies in Asia, as teachers at primary and secondary level, or as academics specializing in the history or politics of China.
