Human resource management is a crucial function in medium and large organizations. It involves the management of employees and the employment relationship, including recruiting, selecting, remunerating, developing and retaining staff. The HR manager’s responsibilities include: workforce and succession planning, performance management and training systems, equity and diversity across organizations. The Human Resources major prepares students to respond to new challenges and changes in the workplace. The program addresses aspects of day-to-day operations, strategic thinking and decision-making. Students will develop change management and sustainability techniques.
