Studying Spanish will help students to travel the world. Students will: become proficient at communicating in a natural and effective way in any Spanish-speaking environment, learn about the main social, political, economic and cultural issues of Spanish-speaking societies, engage with themes of upheaval, repression, zeal and transformation that inform Spanish and Latin American worlds. Students of English literature and creative arts will gain insight into the Latin American influence on English traditions and culture – literature from Cervantes’ Don Quixote as well as Gabriel García Márquez, dance such as the tango, salsa and merengue, and films featuring Latin American actors, writers and directors such as Pedro Almodóvar.
Good Communication Skills.
Gaining of knowledge related to The Psychological Context, The Social and Historical Context, Mathematics in Schools, Language, Literacy and Learning, Classroom Management and Assessment, Curriculum and Teaching in Primary School, Professional Experience in the Primary School, Reading Acquisition in the Primary Classroom, Advanced Spanish are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
