Course Description

The French major aims to give students proficiency in French language as well as an awareness of, and appreciation for, the societies and cultures of the Francophone world. French units include French language from introductory level to advanced, the culture and history of France – developing a greater understanding of the language.

Gaining of knowledge related to Criminal Justice and Procedure, Foundations of Law, Contracts, Law, Lawyers and Society, Jurisprudence, Property Law, Equity and Trusts, Business Organisations, International Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil and Criminal Procedure, Remedies, Reparations and Resolution in Law, Advanced French are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
