The educational objectives of this program are to equip health managers with the knowledge and skills to successfully assume a range of leadership roles in health services in a wide variety of settings and to enable health managers to have a pro-active role in advancing their organization.

The main aim of the course is to provide applicants with the skills required for their further business knowledge and for managing and leading within the health sector. Depending on the elective schedule chosen by the students,Students gain the opportunity to integrate work and learning through a work placement program,expand their knowledge of the health sector through their choice of electives,gain the opportunity to develop their research skills and upon successful completion undertake a DBA.
An applicant who has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian Higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution and has had at least two years' appropriate work experience OR has successfully completed the Graduate Certificate of Management of the University of Tasmania or an equivalent award of another Australian higher education institution.For International Students IELTS score is required,successful completion of units in other courses at the University of Tasmania or another approved tertiary institution may be credited towards the degree.
After pursuing this degree from University Of Tasmania, Students get accreditation by the Association of Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB).
