Cultural studies is concerned with the study of culture in all of its forms and practices, exposing the everyday practices, relations and objects that shape our world. This major provides students with a thorough understanding of how we make cultural meaning, as well as investigating the social and political dimensions of culture. Students will study issues to do with art, media, communication and representation, the practice of everyday life, from shopping to graffiti, the construction and deconstruction of social, cultural and personal identities, as well as the values and ideas shaping national, regional and global cultures.

Gaining of knowledge related to Accounting Information for Decision-Making, Techniques and Elements of Finance, Principles of Management, Microeconomic Principles, Introduction to Human Resources, Introduction to Business Information Systems, Marketing Fundamentals, Fundamentals of Management Accounting, Introduction to Global Business, Business Law, Consumer Demographics, Business Forecasting, Strategic Management, The Art of Negotiation, Living Culture are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students can work across a wide range of areas, including arts administration, journalism, lobbying and activism, policy analysis, theatre and creative arts management, local and state government and the community and public sector.
