The International communication major provides a range of knowledge and skills of communication across cultural and national boundaries. Students will develop an informed, global, cross-cultural perspective of the world, written and verbal communication skills that are valued by employers in any industry. Students will combine International Communication with another degree in business, law or science to further career prospects. Students will gain the skills to contribute to international, cross-cultural policy development and to shape social interventions.

Gaining of knowledge related to Introduction to International Communication, Intercultural Relations, International Television and Beyond, Global Knowledge Society, Writing for International Business and Finance, International Media Policy, Media Identities, Culture and Technology, Modernism, Postmodernism and Beyond, Public Relations Theories, Public Relations Practice are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students with a major in International Communication have found employment in diplomacy, international policy making, journalism, media production and events, international public relations and advertising for corporations, government and non-government organizations.
