This is an interdisciplinary major designed for those seeking employment in the arts and associated organizations, or those who plan a career involving arts administration. Students will develop an in-depth knowledge of arts theory and practice, and vocational options in the arts, a working knowledge of galleries, an understanding of human resource management and business practice relevant to the arts, a knowledge of copyright law and intellectual property, the ability to conduct research in the arts and liaise with arts related administration and funding organizations and a capacity to work in arts projects in arts centers, schools, and the community. This program adopts a wide definition of the arts and addresses the skills and knowledge required for employment in a multitude of creative arts industries.

Gaining of knowledge related to Principles of Management, Curating Artistic Creativity, Financial Management for the Arts, Accounting Information for Decision-Making, Arts and Entertainment Industries, Performance and Popular Media, Drama Practice, Music Theatre, Movement Training and Performance, Dance Practice, Music Production, Introduction to Vocal Studies, Intermediate Vocal Studies, Guitar Principles, Studies in Rhythm, Arts Management Internship, Managing Creativity, Public Relations Theories, Sociology of the Arts, Performance Research, Creative Process, Movement, Performance and Digital Media, Advanced Vocal Studies, Advanced Guitar, Musical Creativities: Projects and Directions, Musical Literacy are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students of this course will have career in charity fundraising, education, government and private enterprise consultancy, grants administration, journalism and critique, media production, publishing, self-managed artist, theatre, gallery and museum management.
