Management professionals and industry increasingly require leadership with an in-depth current knowledge of information and communication technologies, and management tools and practices. This program provides enhanced knowledge and skills in information systems as a key tool for improving organizational performance. The program develops the capacity of the individual to manage the functional responsibility for choosing, implementing and maintaining information systems within an organization and across organizations.

In this course major studies focuses on the modeling and design of relational database systems as well as the development of real-world applications based on best practices and sound design principles. Practical emphasis is placed on normalization procedures, user interfaces, client/server technologies, web e-commerce databases and database security issues.
After pursuing this degree students will possess industry-recognized skills as well as analytical and research skills in information systems. This leads to positions that relate to the business application of information technology in any organization. These positions include, but are not limited to, systems analyst/developer, web/ecommerce developer, database designer and administrator and information resource manager. These skills also lead to higher-level positions such as project leader and manager.
A minimum score of 575 on TOEFL, an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 88 (no score less than 21) or a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0.
