Graduate studies have an important place in management development. The course offers participants the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to practise as a manager in a global context. Emphasis is placed on the determination and assessment of 'best practice' approaches to management, informed by the application of appropriate and sound theoretical foundations drawn from a variety of interdisciplinary sources. The program as a whole is designed to enhance participants' professional skills, provide opportunities for their career pathways, and to be relevant to their professional needs.
The Faculty of Business may accept as a candidate for the Graduate Certificate of International Business any of the following a person who has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution,OR a person who has had at least three (3) years relevant work experience.For entry into all postgraduate courses, international students must provide an IELTS test scoreor a TOEFL score with a Test of Written English score. This test must not be more than 24 months old.
After the successful completion of the course the graduates are eligible for associate membership of the Australian Marketing Institute and the Australian Market and Social Research Society.
