Electronics technology is used in many fields, including telecommunications, manufacturing, computers, transport, power generation, entertainment, consumer appliances, environmental control and medicine. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to work with electronics technology in these areas. This major is an alternate way to gain an electronics qualification with an emphasis on science over engineering. Students can also choose studies in analogue, digital, and telecommunications electronics.
Good knowledge of Mathematics.
Gaining of knowledge related to Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Project Practices, Industry Experience, Systems Design and Engineering, Engineering Principles and Practice, Programmable Logic Design, Circuits and Devices, Electronics Project, Engineering Project Practices are the concepts included as major parts in this course.
Students of this course will have career in circuit design and development, design and manufacturing of industrial and consumer products, electronic maintenance, networking and communications, scientific research and development, system designer, systems installation and customization.
