Griffith university

The Master of Accounting enables graduates with prior studies in accounting to work towards full membership with the Australian professional accounting bodies and obtain a master’s degree at the same time. Griffith University will provide students with academic support in preparation for completing the CPA Program Professional Level external examinations. Students completing this program and the examinations conducted by CPA Australia satisfy the educational requirements for CPA membership and will become eligible for full CPA membership upon completion of three years of mentored work experience.

Major studies include gaining of technical knowledge and understanding required in accounting and finance, and their application within the broader world of business.
After pursuing this double degree from Griffith university students get accreditation by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and CPA Australia recognize graduates of this award.
Students will be qualified for employment opportunities in financial and company accounting, government administration, business planning, cost and management accounting, auditing, information systems, taxation, finance and banking, stockbroking, treasury, foreign exchange, superannuation, consulting, insurance, and manufacturing. This program also serves as an entry qualification for advanced accounting studies.
