This degree introduces students to a wide range of multimedia design, production, management, and evaluation skills. All students participate in practical projects for external clients and develop a portfolio, as well as undertake work-integrated learning through industry placements.

Gaining of skills needed to create, develop and deploy multimedia products, content and applications. In this course students need to focus on the scientific basis of multimedia technologies, art and design, particularly graphic and audiovisual communication, and the development of an aesthetic sense, management techniques and financial issues related to multimedia production.
The Bachelor of Multimedia with the Interactive Entertainment and Games major or the Internet Computing major is accredited by the Australian Computer Society.
Multimedia graduates will be able to gain employment in a variety of industries. Depending on major, Students may get work in film and TV, special effects, interactive games development, web and other advertising, sound and music production or as designers in the communication, hospitality and entertainment industries. Students will also be prepared to undertake a wide range of IT roles listed under the Bachelor of Information Technology degree.
A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0, a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL or an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 88 (no score less than 21).
