The Master of Environment comprises two semesters of full-time study or the equivalent in one of the following specializations. The Master’s program provides opportunities for students who want to move into more senior management positions. This specialization introduces students to the physical science basis for climate change and its ecological and human health impacts. This course examines the different economic instruments and legal tools available or proposed, both nationally and internationally, to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and analyses the various economic instruments such as carbon taxes and emissions trading regimes. Legal and policy decisions in different sectors, such as renewable energy and transport, are examined. Economics and Policy:- One of the most profound challenges faced by society is how to become sustainable. Addressing this challenge has created exciting careers in environmental economics and policy-making across the business, government and community sectors. This specialization provides training in these professions for people who wish to upgrade their qualifications, change careers, help to make society more sustainable, or undertake further postgraduate study. Education for Sustainability:- Education is an essential element in addressing the pressing environmental problems we are currently facing. This specialization provides students with the knowledge and skills to be effective environmental educators. This course is designed for graduates from any discipline who wish to obtain specialist environmental and sustainability education training. This specialization provides the opportunity to learn skills in areas such as reorienting formal education for sustainability, adult and community education, public communication and social change, planning and evaluating projects, and environmental and sustainability education research. Environmental Protection:-This specialization is designed for graduates with a science or environmental science degree who wish to obtain specialist skills and knowledge to gain further employment opportunities in the field of environmental protection. The specialization includes advanced studies in environment and population health with a focus on environmental protection and pollution studies, aiming at improving ecological sustainable development outcomes for communities. Graduates are eligible for membership of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and Certification as Environmental Practitioners (CENVP program).

Students will gain an understanding of the wide range of disciplines, approaches, debates, and ultimately professional opportunities in this field of endeavor. Development and understanding of the various ecological, economic, social and cultural aspects of design and planning, of ways in which planning and design affect sustainability and the human environment, and the knowledge, skills, and values that will help to critically analyze, assess, and act to change the built environment are included as major concept of study.
The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and the Certification as Environmental Practitioners (CENVP program) recognizes graduates of this award.
These programs equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the areas of environmental climate change and policy making. Students will develop the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, to contribute to policy making processes and to run environmental management systems. Further, the masters programs provide opportunity for those who want to move into more senior management roles, while the masters with honors programs enable students to successfully conduct independent research projects. Students will be well placed to gain employment in the public sector, business or community organizations.
A minimum score of 575 on TOEFL, an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 88 (no score less than 21)or a minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0.
