The Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology (Post-Registration) is a one year full time program designed for dental technicians with prior qualifications to complete a recognized degree qualification. This program will expand career opportunities and enable students to build experience as a dental technician to develop a broader knowledge of health sciences, practice management and research surrounding oral health.

The major studies focuses on gaining of knowledge in oral biosciences and biomedical foundations in oral health. This course emphasizes the importance of prevention as a goal and introduces clinical practice. Development of the knowledge and clinical skills needed for the care of individual patients. Exploring the principles and philosophies underlying health promotion for individuals and the community are also involved as major concept of study.
This degree level will enable students to continue with postgraduate education, or more specifically, in dental prosthetics. Students may also pursue career in academic teaching or research.
