Students will be well positioned to take up employment in the health industry in international organizations, at all three levels of government and in the private and not-for-profit sectors, including community health and healthcare organizations. Students may also work in areas such as chronic disease prevention, work/life balance, sexual and reproductive health promotion, HIV/AIDS prevention, promotion of healthy nutrition and physical activity, and harm minimization relating to the impact of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Students will be well equipped to work in promoting healthy environments in settings such as schools and workplaces and in communities such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, refugee and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
