Up on completion of this course students become eligible to apply for membership of Speech Pathology Australia and practice as a speech pathologist. Students will also have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas including hospitals, community and rehabilitation centers, schools (kindergarten to high school), nursing homes, disability services and in private practice. Speech Pathology Australia has also negotiated a number of overseas mutual recognition arrangements.
A minimum overall band score of 7.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 7.0, a minimum score of 580 on TOEFL or an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 92 (no score less than 22). English test results must be no more than two years old.
