Course Description
The Master of Marine and Antarctic Science (MMarAntSc) is a specialised master’s degree course which provides students with advanced instruction and training in emerging approaches and technologies in marine biology.
Assumed Knowledge
Good knowledge of mathematics.
Major Studies
Major studies include development of skills in research and its application to areas of marine science. MMarAntSc students will develop an understanding of the roles marine ecosystems play in the global climate system.
Eligibility Criteria
An undergraduate degree with a major (or the equivalent there of) directly related to the marine or Antarctic environment.
Professional Accreditation
This course is accredited by the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS).
