The Master of Marine and Antarctic Science (MMarAntSc) is a specialised master’s degree course which provides students with advanced instruction and training in emerging approaches and technologies in marine biology.The course is designed to produce expertly trained scientists with international experience and research skills in marine science. MMAntSc students will develop an understanding of the roles the marine ecosystem play in the global climate system.
Good knowledge of mathematics.
The major studies aims to facilitate the development of the following educational objectives such as an understanding of marine science concepts across the breadth of marine science fields of study, an understanding of and practise with the methodology and related scientific techniques used in the study of marine environments, including emerging ideas and technologies used in the collection and analysis of data, to experience in the scientific method as it is practised by professional scientistis.
To be eligible to this course applicants must possess Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree.
Up on completion of this degree from University Of tasmania, Students get accreditation by the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS).
