The Faculty of Business may accept as a candidate for the Master of Business Administration (Professional) any of the following a person who has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution, and has had at least two years' appropriate work experience or the equivalent with the approval of the Dean as delegated to the course coordinator, or a person who has satisfactorily completed the Graduate Certificate of Management (Professional) of the University of Tasmania or an equivalent award of another Australian higher education institution.For entry into all postgraduate courses, international students must provide an IELTS test score or a TOEFL score of with a Test of Written English score.This test must not be more than 24 months old. At the discretion of the Faculty, admission may also include an interview.

This course is accredited by Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants. The graduates are also eligible for exemptions in the qualifying program for membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
