The course offers the students specialisations in the following studies related to Psychology : Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Clinical Geropsychology.
General knowledge and application of Psychology.
This course entails a substantial empirical research thesis as well as advanced professionally-oriented coursework, with opportunities for specialist concentration in areas such as child and family, health and older adults. The focus is on gaining a foundation in the scientific bases and practice of clinical psychology. The training in clinical practice employs evidence-based best practice models in health and mental health settings.
The graduates after the completion of the course may be eligible for membership with the following professional bodies: APS College of Clinical Psychologists, APS College of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Psychology Board Australia.
The graduates can find jobs in some of the most common areas of employment include mental health, education, business, and government. The graduates can become Counsellors and Clinical Psychologists.
