General assumption of Fishery Science.
The major studies included in this course are designed to provide the graduates with advanced skills and knowledge in the collection, analysis and translation of scientific information for real world outcomes. The graduates after the completion of the course are well positioned to contribute in areas of marine resource and environmental management, science policy, and technical management across a range of marine and maritime industries.
This course is accredited by the accredited by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST).
After the successful completion of this course the students will have develop leadership, and management level skills & knowledge for employment across marine/maritime sectors including conservation and environmental management, fisheries and aquaculture production and post-harvest, the tourism industry, shipping and offshore industries, non-governmental organisations and all levels of government from local to global.
