Course Description
Latin American studies deals with the history, sociology, politics and culture of Brazil, Mexico, Cuba and the rest of Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Assumed Knowledge
General knowledge about the Latin language and its importance.
Major Studies
The course addresses the questions about the history, geography, politics and economics of Latin America, preparing the students for further study of Latin America through the underlying trends in a contemporary context.
