This course equips the students with the theoretical, analytical and professional skills for a career in the government, non-profit, and private sectors in Australia or overseas.
General knowledge and application of Pulic Policy world over.
The major studies in this course provide the students with the knowledge and skills to analyze, design and implement policy in complex institutional and regulatory environments. The core units of the program cover public policy theory and practice, policy design, public sector management, policy research and evaluation, and the Australian public sector. The students can choose electives to suit their professional needs and policy interests. The degree concludes with a 'capstone' experience with students opting to undertake either a policy case study project, a professional internship, or a supervised research thesis.
