THIS DEGREE DOES NOT QUALIFY GRADUATES AS TEACHERS. The Master of Education (Honours) is for students who have completed a Master of Education. The course requires a minimum half a year of full-time study in addition to the minimum of one year spent on the Master of Education.
General knowledge about Education.
The students will need to have attained a credit average or better in the Master of Education before being allowed to apply for entry into the Honours Program.
This course articulates with Master of Education and further with research higher degree studies. This course is accredited by the Australian OHS Education Accreditation Board.
The Master of Education(Honours) is an in-depth coursework program that allows students to create individual programs to suit their interests and thus shape their own educational pathways, with the option to include a project or research dissertation. The program is designed to meet the increasing demand for professional development for educators. Topics and research supervision are available in a range of specialization areas such as Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice,Educational Research, Evaluation and Assessment,Gifted Education,International Baccalaureate,Leadership and Management,Special Education,Studies of Asia.
