APSI Institute

This course develops skills for a business or office environment. Skills will be developed in a broad range of competencies in varied office tasks including customer service, communication skills in the workplace, recordkeeping and bookkeeping. This course provides students with the necessary competency in typing and computing skills including keyboarding skills, Word and Excel, as well as knowledge of all aspects of general duties in an office environment. Students will also have the opportunity to develop team leadership skills and work effectively with diversity.
Good management skills.
Major studies include development of knowledge related to organizing schedules, producing business documents and presentations, and processing payroll and accounts. Students can also study this course online at own pace, and it’s open to anyone with basic computer skills.
To be eligible to this course international students must be over 18 years of age before they can enroll at APSI.
This program is nationally recognized under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) at Certificate III level. As a registered training organization, qualifications issued by APS Institute are nationally recognized. If all units of competency are not achieved a Statement of Attainment will be issued for the units that have been successfully completed.
After completing this course, Students will be able to competently undertake various tasks in an office environment and take up positions such as Administration assistant, Clerical worker, Receptionist, Accounts clerk, Secretary, Customer service officer.
