RMIT provides an alternative model of learning with no compulsory extracurricular activities, a focus on studies and the benefit of accessing all services available to tertiary students.RMIT offers a VCE program at Year 11 (units 1 and 2) and Year 12 (units 3 and 4) to anyone seeking to complete secondary schooling. You must select courses according to Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) requirements and complete 16 units, including four Year 12 sequences. If you are over 18 and have not studied full-time for 12 months you are classified as an adult student and can omit units 1 and 2. You may need to undertake preparatory work prior to attempting Year 12.
