In this course the student will be intellectually and aesthetically challenged in this specialised, intensive studio-based Honours program designed for students aspiring to a fine arts career. The program consists of studies in:ceramics, drawing, gold and silversmithing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, fine art photography, sound, media arts.Honours students are intellectually and aesthetically challenged in readiness for a fine arts career. This program provides a critical and supportive environment emphasising independent research and development. Studio practice is complemented by individual and group tutorials and lectures.

In this course the major studies include study of ceramics, drawing, gold and silversmithing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, fine art photography, sound, media arts.
Completion of an Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
This program is not subject to accreditation. The program is regularly monitored through the Schools Program Advisory Committee, which consists of senior academic staff from within the School and external Arts Industry professionals and advises the School in facilitating a program that is relevant to the role of Fine Arts, both nationally and internationally.
Graduates from the Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours find employment in a variety of positions within the arts professions, including studio practice, theoretical writing on art, curatorial work, gallery administration, research and teaching, as well as participating in individual and group-generated projects.
1 year full-time.International student visa holders can only study full-time.
