This double degree will give student automotive engineering and management expertise, preparing for leadership roles in the automotive and related industries. The Bachelor of Engineering (Automotive Engineering) will ensure that student will be adept in core mechanical and automotive engineering.The Bachelor of Business (Management) prepares to manage contemporary organisations within complex and changing economic and social conditions.
Current Year 12 prerequisite units 3 and 4—Mathematical Methods (CAS) and a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or at least 25 in any other English.
In this course the major studies include development of knowledge in automative engineering and mechanical engineering. The study also includes the development of leadership skills.
Student must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 70%.For information on international qualifications and corresponding entry requirements that are equivalent to an Australian Year 12, see the Entry requirements by country web page. Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
Graduates of this program will be eligible for graduate membership of Engineers Australia. Note: the automotive engineering single degree is already fully accredited by Engineers Australia.
After completing degree, Graduates find roles in: transport, petrochemical ,energy supply, building services, defence forces, governments ,general engineering consulting.
5 years full-time, Years 1, 2 and 3 are conducted on the City campus and Years 4 and 5 are conducted
