The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) is a four-year degree that prepares graduates for clinical practice as exercise physiologists. The course is accredited at the level of exercise physiology by the National University Course Accreditation Program of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). In this course, study also includes the importance of exercise and behaviour change for the prevention and management of conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, depressions, cancer, and arthritis.
