With 7 major research groups and a range of specialisations in RMITs School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Graduate can make a significant and original research contribution in: Biomedical Electronics, Engineering Education, Industrial Automation and Control Systems, Information and Signal Processing, Micro/Nano Electronics and Sensors Technology, Microplatforms, RF and Antennas. Within these research groups, Graduate can specialise in: biomedical signal measurements and processing, biomolecular electronics, intelligent control systems, power electronics, video/image/speech/audio signal processing, micro-nanotechnology, lab-on-a-chip technology, photonic devices and systems, integrated optics, chemical/physical/biosensors, RF circuits and devices, planar antennas, telecommunications networks. In this course student will do original research leading to the development of a thesis.
One of the following: Successful completion of an Australian graduation degree by Research degree or equivalent, Successful completion of an Australian Masters by Coursework degree or equivalent WITH a research component graded as a distinction (GPA of 3.
In this course the major focus is on research on one of the chosen topic. Entry into a Research program at RMIT is not based solely on academic achievement and applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements to be considered for candidature.
This course ,Master of Engineering(Electrical and Computer Engineering) by Research is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
