This is a graduate certificate designed for those who wish to undertake a few units of study at postgraduate level in a particular area in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.Currently, available areas of study for the Graduate Certificate in Arts include: Art History, English, Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies, History, Holocaust Studies and Social Policy.Candidates who have satisfied the requirements for the award of Graduate Certificate may apply to upgrade to the Graduate Diploma course in the same sequence, provided that their results are of sufficient merit.
Basic study of history.
In this course the major studies include few units of study at postgraduate level in a particular area in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.Currently, available areas of study for the Graduate Certificate in Arts include: Art History; English, Hebrew, Biblical and Jewish Studies, History, Holocaust Studies and Social Policy.
Admission to candidature for the Graduate Certificate in Arts requires a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sydney, with a major in a relevant subject area in the humanities or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
This program and the Graduate Diploma in Arts Management are formally accredited.They provide evidence of substantial achievement for promotion and employment purposes in occupations relating to education and the arts industry.
