In this course student will explore how to address and reverse these threats and work towards a more environmentally sustainable future. By discussing, researching and designing effective strategies to analyze past and present situations, Student will be directly involved in improving cities, rural areas and the wider environment. Student will work on real life projects with many leading environmental practitioners to develop practical solutions to problems such as climate change, energy use and pollution management. This program focuses on environmental policies and management and the way decisions about the environment are made. While some expertise in science or technology can be helpful, uniquely the program doesnt require a background in these areas. With the worlds environment under threat, understanding human impact has become vital.

In this course the major studies include exploring of how to address and reverse threats and work towards a more environmentally sustainable future. In this course study related to climate change, energy use and pollution management is involved.
Student must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 70%. For information on international qualifications and corresponding entry requirements that are equivalent to an Australian Year 12, see the Entry requirements by country web page. Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
After pursuing graduation degree, Graduates are eligible for membership of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.
Employers value the practical research skills that our environment graduates develop.Typical employers include Commonwealth, state and local governments, consulting firms, community organisations and a range of private and public businesses in metropolitan and rural areas, both in Australia and overseas. Graduate will work with organisations involved in environmental action and policy creation. And this often leads to full-time work after graduation. Student’s final-year group research project also helps student to develop career prospects.
3 years full time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
