In screen and media program, Student will develop the essential skills and knowledge in key areas like: concept development, storytelling, pre-production, production, post-production. Throughout studies, well emphasize the importance of industry knowledge, collaboration, team building and professionalism. Learning is via a combination of classes and screenings and through doing computer lab, location and studio-based exercises and productions. Student will have access to professional equipment and facilities and be encouraged to develop and produce innovative screen content to industry standard.Student must successfully complete the Diploma of Screen and Media before progressing to the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media.

Development of essential skills and knowledge in key areas like: concept development, storytelling, pre-production, production, post-production is studied as major in this course.
Student must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 50%.For information on international qualifications and corresponding entry requirements that are equivalent to an Australian Year 12, see the Entry requirements by country web page.Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary Diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
On successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media. On completion of specific units students will be eligible to receive the Diploma of Screen and Media.
Our graduates enter the industry as freelance professionals in a variety of production roles. Many have also found career-building positions in Australian network television.Australian and international graduates are also actively working in media industries in Europe, USA and Asia.
1 year full time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
