In this course student will develop the knowledge, technical skills and experience with collaborative practice needed to build a career in the increasingly integrated and diverse media industries, from traditional video and audio production to rising media channels. This program is designed to meet the industrys need for graduates who are knowledgeable and skilled in current, innovative and future trends in: video, audio, cross-media technologies, audience behavior. It covers both traditional film and television, as well as cross-media production, online media developments and emerging global media practices and trends. Student will be able to work independently and in production teams and confidently communicate with allied professionals like designers and programmers.

Completion of an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline.
The program has strong industry links with a wide range of media organization’s. A Program Advisory Committee (PAC), consisting of high-profile industry representatives, ensures the program remains up-to-date with industry standards and practice.
Graduates can expect to be employed within the screen and sound production industries and will be particularly well equipped to take on emerging roles in corporate, government and community contexts that involve the development and coordination of cross-media, transmedia and social media projects.
1 year full time or 2 year part time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
