In this program, Student will be trained as a practitioner who engages in daily critical reflection and lifelong learning. Student will examine how such disorders affect biomechanics, the nervous system and health in general. Our focus is on manual treatments like spinal adjustments and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation. Anatomy, physiology and pathology subjects underpin the clinical science studies of physical examination, differential diagnosis for the chiropractor and clinical practicum. Student will begin work-integrated learning immediately, culminating in student’s fourth year when student will perform patient care duties with supervision from a registered practitioner. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners intent on health promotion. They diagnose, treat and work to prevent mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

In this course major studies include detailed concepts related to anatomy, physiology and pathology subjects.
Student must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 or an equivalent senior secondary school qualification with a minimum average of 70%. For information on international qualifications and corresponding entry requirements that are equivalent to an Australian Year 12, see the Entry requirements by country web page. Equivalent qualifications may also include completion of the RMIT Foundation Studies program or a recognised post secondary diploma in the relevant discipline with the required grades.
After pursuing this degree, This program will be subject to accreditation by the Council on Chiropractic Education (Australasia) for the Chiropractic Board of Australia.
After completing this degree,Career prospects are excellent. Graduates work in private practice as sole practitioners or in group practices. More and more chiropractors share offices with other healthcare practitioners in multidisciplinary environments.
