Programs cater for those wanting to gain skills in conducting research or to study a particular area of interest, or for those with a thirst for new knowledge.Our multidisciplinary research base offers opportunities for research in a range of areas from projects involving human subjects through to cell- and molecular-based systems using state-of-the-art technology. Entry into a Research program at RMIT is not based solely on academic achievement and applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements to be considered for candidature.
Graduates may be eligible to become fully accredited exercise physiologists with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). This is the highest level of accreditation available in Australia for Exercise Physiologists.
Graduates are employed in academia, industry and the private sector. They can have opportunity to become research team leaders in their own right in Australia and internationally, and to holding senior positions in government and industry.
