This PhD program offers opportunities to join a leading research team, gain research skills and specialist knowledge and embark on a biomedical research career .RMITs School of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the new Health Innovations Research Institute (HIRI), has established a major hub for biomedical research at Bundoora campus west. Together they have several internationally recognized research groups (with ERA ratings of 4 and 5) that draw together the breadth of biomedical research excellence at RMIT and support multidisciplinary and collaborative research to address key health issues facing the Australian community. Master and PhD qualifications enable student to embark on a research career or to work in a higher administrative capacity in a research team. Programs cater for those wishing to gain skills in conducting research or to study a particular area of interest, or for those with a thirst for new knowledge.
