In this program, Student will do supervised osteopathic research that simultaneously contributes to the knowledge base of the profession and develops research skills. In most circumstances, Student will be expected to have a degree with a substantial osteopathic component. Otherwise student may be required to do additional coursework.

If student is an chiropractic graduate, Then student is considered on the basis of academic performance in the last 3 years of program. If student is an active practitioner, The student is considered on the basis of educational background, professional activity and contribution, in addition to student’s past academic record. All Master applicants must have at least one of the following: a first degree from RMIT with at least a credit average in the final undergraduate year, a recognized award deemed to be equivalent in character and standard to a first degree from RMIT with at least a credit average in the final undergraduate year, or evidence of appropriate experience that satisfies the college/school that the applicant has developed knowledge of the field of study sufficient to undertake the proposed program.
Graduates will be able to apply knowledge and skills: with creativity and initiative in new situations and/or for further training, with high-level personal autonomy and accountability, in planning and executing a substantial piece of research.
2 years full-time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
