This PhD program combines the research areas of disability and psychology.Disability studies. Master and PhD supervision is offered in the following areas of disability:forensic issues, parental training, staffing, program evaluation, empowerment, ethics, advocacy , quality of life. Psychology :- Research supervision can be offered in a range of areas in applied psychology. Student is encouraged to see our School of Health Sciences website for up-to-date information on staff research activities, supervisor availability and current and proposed research projects that might accommodate higher degree by research involvement.

Entry into a Research program at RMIT is not based solely on academic achievement and applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements to be considered for candidature.
Psychology:- Student will be eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society. However, to practice as a professional psychologist student need to complete certain professional training requirements.
