Students will use modern mathematical software to build on undergraduate analytic and modelling skills and further specialise in mathematics. This program leads student for employment in commerce, government agencies or research. Alternatively, it can open a pathway into a PhD or master by research. Student’s specialisation can combine 2 of these 3 areas - computational, discrete, or applied mathematics, Thus maintaining a commitment for using modern mathematical software.

The major studies includes the detailed and basic concepts related to mathematics
Completion of an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in Mathematics or a related discipline with a minimum GPA) of 2.5 (out of 4.0).
Graduates are qualified to join the Australian Mathematical Society and other similar societies in other countries.
Graduates work in research establishments, government bodies, industry or commerce where elements of research, mathematical maturity and advanced study are required.
1 year full time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
