This program allows students to specialise in statistics and operations research, preparing for postgraduate research and employment. In this course students will build analytic and modelling skills developed in his/her academic 3-year undergraduate program and use modern statistical and operations research software.

In this course the major studies include the development of major skills in statistics.
Completion of an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent in a Statistics and/or Operation Research with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0).
Graduates will be eligible for membership with the Statistical Society of Australia Inc., the Australian Society for Operations Research, the Australian Mathematical Society and similar societies in other countries.
Students will be well placed to pursue employment in research-led establishments where research, statistical maturity and advanced study are in high demand. These can include the government sector (bodies like Australian Bureau of Statistics and CSIRO), industry (where students will do analytics/research/modelling), commerce (in finance and banking, etc).
1 year full time or 2 year part time, International student visa holders can only study full-time.
