The wide range of areas covered in our statistics and operations research programs include survival data analysis, multivariate statistics, exploratory data analysis, financial mathematics, game theory, fuzzy sets and simulation of real systems , time series, sequential analysis, software reliability, statistical quality control, sports statistics, stochastic modelling, optimisation, decision analysis, systems dynamics. Students research programs will develop analytical and problem solving skills which allows to do literature reviews, develop research questions, critically analyse data, design methodology and techniques , carry out independent research in chosen field. With these skills students will be able to undertake and complete an original research project under the supervision of RMITs experts in related fields.
